BASF Wall Systems holds Applicator Training

BASF Wall Systems hosted an Applicator Training on June 12-13 in New Brighton, Minnesota. The training is the first of its kind in the Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) industry to combine real jobsite application experience with the latest industry knowledge to help applicators improve project outcomes, site safety and project profitability. The one and a half-day program consists of:

  • Individual and team application training of specialty finishes
  • Construction details for system and product installation
  • Value engineering case study analysis
  • Troubleshooting and failure prevention

"We are thrilled to introduce the Wall Systems Applicator Training to the industry. It demonstrates our commitment to helping the industry improve applicator knowledge and skills as well as retain and develop talent.” said Wall Systems Industry Sector Manager, Danielle Shacklady McAtee.
The training included 33 applicators, representing 20 contractor firms across the country. BASF plans to hold three applicator trainings per year, along with an annual online refresher course to help applicators maintain the most current techniques and best practices.
