ENERSHIELD^™ products contribute to jobsite safety in a number of ways, starting with product composition.

ENERSHIELD^™ products are water-based, low-VOC materials.  As delivered and applied, they are non-flammable.  After they are on the wall and cured, ENERSHIELD^™ products offer ASTM E-84 Class 1 flame spread performance.

Since ENERSHIELD^™ products are single-component materials, no mixing is required on the jobsite, and exothermic chemical reactions will not occur.  In original unopened containers, ENERSHIELD^™ products have a 2-year shelf life.

High material coverage can contribute to safety by reducing or eliminating the need to handle bulky 55-gallon drums on the jobsite. 

Fluid-applied products do not require siliconized release papers.  ENERSHIELD^™ products reduce the slipping/falling and flammability hazards that used release papers can present on the jobsite.
